Action for Impact Foundation

Action for Impact Foundation is a voluntary organisation with interventions in education, policy and grassroots democracy to influence public policy and impact social change. It plans to initiate capacity building programs in policy and research. Through studies, social interventions, and advocacy, we collaborate with policy and thought leaders to put policy into reality.

Action for Impact Foundation is a voluntary organisation with interventions in education, policy and grassroots democracy to influence public policy and impact social change. It plans to initiate capacity building programs in policy and research.

We plan to work with grassroots democracy institutions. In order to put policy into effect in future, we also want to make inter-disciplinary training courses, research, capacity-building initiatives, and civil society participation more accessible. In order to raise people's awareness and comprehension, we aim to encourage research, training, and discussion among key players in society.

We intend to conduct mentoring sessions to support young students who aspire to a career in grassroots democratic institutions, the social impact sector, and academics. There is a misalignment between school curricula and young Indians' aspirations and financial needs. Moreover, the gap is even more acute for young people from low-income families, who have minimal access to formal employment opportunities and little career guidance. Therefore there is a need to transform the educational and employability landscape to meet current job demand and train young people for the future of work.

Action for Impact is aimed at assisting them in making smart decisions and achieving their full potential. We also want to make inter-disciplinary training courses, research, capacity-building interventions, and civil society participation more accessible so that policy can be implemented.

Objectives

To promote and conduct research in matters pertaining to developing substantive policy options;

To democratise access to career and learning opportunities

To prepare, encourage, and provide education and training in the areas of policy planning and management

To encourage young people get access to conduct research and design substantive policy options

To support grassroots and local body leaders of democratic institutions by conducting capacity building sessions

To prepare, encourage, and provide education and training in the areas of policy planning and management

Engage with the government, public bodies, civil society, the private sector, and other organisations on public policy, law and governance issues.

Mentor and Support young people with 21 st century skills to prepare them for Future

To support and conduct capacity building sessions for teachers, government officials, and activists

Arrange and facilitate conferences, workshops, research courses, lectures, and other related activities

We aim to publish articles, studies and other literature to disseminate information on policy issues
